The Scan'O'Vision software is done to record, display and judge photofinish image. To manage a camera it can be used with the Bridge system or with the OSV Color hardware.
To display Scan'O'Vision image or to do judgment, it can be used on any computer without specific OMEGA hardware.

The upgrade below will not upgrade the help file and is only valid if the verion 2.1 or higher is already installed (see below for OSV Bridge Driver Upgrade).
- Allow to use more than 9 COM ports.
- IAAF rules have been blocked for the "Athletics" sport. As security, the screen background is set to magenta (instead of white) if the time precision is not set to 1/100s.
- New sport (Multisport) created in order to choose the rules (correspond to the "old athletics mode"). A watch represent this sport in the race mode. Remember : the sport is selected in "Options" "Preferences" of the OSV4_Setting.exe software.
- Add the Ctrl+E shortcut for the "Options" "Edit" "Race Parameters" menu.
Warning : with an OSV Bridge, when upgrading the software to the version 4.07, you also need to upgrade the OSV Bridge driver to the version 1.4.0.0 with the OSV1394.INF and OSV1394.SYS files (see below).

- When the settings are in "Viewing only (no judgement)", a right click in the "Results" window will do the same action as the "Go to" of the "Modification" window (show, in the image, the cursor corresponding to the selected classification line).
- In the "Search" function, possibility to quickly list all the identical lanes, bib or time (same parameter attributed at least two times).
- Possibility to suspend the output of the instantaneous message on the Data Handling serial line. At the end of the suspend, all changes in the results are sent to the DH. During the suspend, a logo is shown in the top of the lane numbering.
